Roles & Responsibilities

A Home Appliance Service In-Charge manages technicians, schedules repairs, handles complex customer issues, oversees inventory, ensures quality & safety, and provides training, focusing on efficient, high-standard service delivery for appliances like fridges, washers, and ovens, coordinating both on-site fixes and customer satisfaction. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and guide appliance technicians, providing technical support and performance feedback.
  • Service Coordination: Develop maintenance/repair schedules, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of service calls.
  • Customer Relations: Address escalated complaints, ensure high satisfaction, and act as a liaison between customers and the team.
  • Technical Oversight: Inspect completed work for quality, troubleshoot complex issues, and enforce safety protocols.
  • Inventory & Admin: Manage parts inventory, order supplies, maintain records of repairs, and handle warranty tasks.
  • Training & Development: Train new technicians and keep the team updated on new technologies and repair techniques.
