We are seeking an NPD Assistant to support new product development activities in a rubber manufacturing environment. The role involves assisting in rubber compound trials, product sampling, process validation, and coordination with production and quality teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in development of new rubber products as per customer and internal requirements
Support rubber compounding, mixing, moulding, and curing trials
Coordinate with production, quality, and tooling teams during trials
Prepare and maintain NPD documents (trial reports, BOM, process sheets, specifications)
Monitor process parameters such as mixing, curing time, temperature, and pressure
Support sample preparation and customer approval submissions
Assist in problem analysis and corrective actions during trials
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and 5S standards
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of rubber manufacturing processes
Understanding of rubber compounds, moulding, and curing processes (preferred)
Ability to read drawings and technical specifications
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
Willingness to work on shop floor during trials
