We are looking for a Cost & Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate product cost estimates for rubber components and support pricing, budgeting, and feasibility analysis for new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates for new and existing rubber products
Calculate material, compound, labour, machine, tooling, and overhead costs
Support NPD feasibility studies and RFQ costing
Analyze drawings, specifications, and process flow for costing
Coordinate with production, NPD, purchase, and quality teams
Monitor cost variance and suggest cost reduction opportunities
Maintain costing data, BOQ, and estimation records
Support customer quotations and management reports
Skills & Requirements:
Knowledge of rubber manufacturing processes and compounds
Understanding of product costing and estimation methods
Strong MS Excel skills for cost analysis
Ability to read technical drawings
Good analytical and communication skills
