Description

A Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily cleaning operations, managing staff, scheduling, training, and ensuring high cleanliness standards in hotels, hospitals, or offices by assigning tasks, inspecting work, controlling supplies, and resolving guest issues, ensuring compliance with safety protocols for a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Control: Inspecting rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and maintenance standards, conducting checks, and addressing deficiencies.
  • Training & Development: Onboarding new staff, training on procedures, equipment, safety, and techniques, and conducting refresher training.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring, ordering, and managing cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, and reporting needed repairs.
  • Guest & Customer Service: Responding to and resolving guest complaints or requests professionally.
  • Operations & Reporting: Developing strategies for efficiency, preparing reports for management, and coordinating with other departments.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation policies.
  • Staff Supervision & Scheduling: Assigning daily tasks, creating staff schedules, monitoring performance, and providing coaching/feedback.
