
Core Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
Designing new automotive electronic components (e.g., PCB assemblies, sensors, control units).
Creating 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
Ensuring designs meet customer specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Process Engineering
Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for new products.
Designing assembly support tools such as stencils, jigs, fixtures, and wave pallets for PCB assembly.
Supporting SMT, reflow profiling, conformal coating, and product validation processes.
Testing & Validation
Interpreting customer requirements and translating them into testing protocols.
Conducting installation, validation, and reliability testing of prototypes.
Ensuring compliance with automotive standards (ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Working closely with R&D, quality, and production teams.
Coordinating with suppliers for new component sourcing.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in design and manufacturing.
Key Skills
Strong knowledge of automotive electronics systems (ECUs, sensors, PCB assemblies).
Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS).
Expertise in PCB assembly processes (SMT, MI, AOI).
Familiarity with automotive standards and compliance.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for design optimization.
