Client Collaboration: Meet with clients to understand their requirements, provide creative suggestions, and make revisions based on feedback.
Print Optimization: Prepare files with correct CMYK color profiles, bleed settings, and resolutions (DPI) suitable for large-format machines.
Typography: Layout text effectively in multiple languages (English and Tamil/local languages) using appropriate fonts and hierarchy.
Typography & Branding: Ensure all designs align with the client’s brand identity and logo guidelines.
Technical Skills Required
Adobe Photoshop (Expert): Mastery of layers, masking, pen tool, and blending modes.
CorelDRAW (Highly Preferred): Most Indian flex shops use CorelDRAW for vector layouts alongside Photoshop.
Print Knowledge: Understanding the difference between RGB (digital) and CMYK (print) workflows.
File Management: Ability to handle large file sizes efficiently without crashing the system.
Tamil Typing: Proficiency in local language typing tools (like Bamini or NHM Writer).
