Incoming Quality Inspection (IQC)
Inspect raw materials and purchased components as per quality standards.
Verify materials against drawings, specifications, and PO requirements.
Prepare Incoming Inspection Reports.
Identify and segregate rejected materials.
Coordinate with suppliers for quality issues.
2️⃣ In-Process Quality Inspection (IPQC)
Conduct stage-wise inspection during production.
Ensure adherence to control plans and process parameters.
Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments.
Monitor process capability and reduce defects.
Stop production in case of major quality deviation (if authorized).
3️⃣ Final Inspection (FQC / OQC)
Inspect finished goods before dispatch.
Ensure product meets customer specifications.
Approve products for shipment.
Prepare Final Inspection Report.
4️⃣ Testing & Measurement
Use instruments such as:
Vernier Caliper
Micrometer
Height Gauge
Dial Gauge
Surface Plate
Thread Gauge
Maintain calibration status of measuring instruments.
Record measurement results accurately.
5️⃣ Documentation & Reporting
Maintain quality records and inspection check sheets.
Record NCR (Non-Conformance Report).
Maintain rejection and rework data.
Update quality data in ERP or manual registers.
Support internal and external audits.
6️⃣ Quality Control & Improvement
Identify root cause of defects.
Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Participate in Kaizen / Continuous Improvement activities.
Assist in implementing 5S and safety standards.
7️⃣ Customer & Audit Support
Support customer inspections.
Assist during ISO / IATF audits.
Ensure compliance with company quality policy.
