Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Junior Operator to support day-to-day operations in the production/plant environment. The candidate will assist in operating machinery, monitoring processes, and ensuring smooth production while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in operating and monitoring production equipment and machinery.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for plant operations.
Monitor process parameters and report deviations to supervisors.
Perform basic troubleshooting during machine operations.
Maintain daily production and maintenance logs.
Support preventive maintenance activities with the maintenance team.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.
Maintain housekeeping and workplace cleanliness as per 5S standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related field).
Fresh graduates or 0–1 year of experience in manufacturing/plant operations.
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Ability to understand technical drawings and operating manuals.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in shift-based operations.
Preferred Skills
Internship or training experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
Basic knowledge of PLC, automation, or mechanical systems.
Work Environment
Manufacturing/production plant environment.
Requires working in rotational shifts if required.
