Roles & Responsibilities – VMC Operator
Operate the Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machine as per production requirements.
Load and unload workpieces from the machine safely.
Start and monitor machine cycles according to the given instructions.
Check components visually and with basic measuring instruments to ensure quality.
Fill and maintain required production documents such as in-process inspection reports, production records, and machine check sheets.
Inform the supervisor if any machine abnormality, quality issue, or tool problem occurs.
Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding work area and follow safety procedures.
