Description

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled ITI Welders to carry out welding work in Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Skids, E-House structures, Structural & Heavy Fabrication projects. The welder must follow approved WPS, maintain quality as per ASME standards, and help reduce weld repair.

Key Responsibilities

Welding Work

Perform welding using SMAW / GTAW / FCAW as per approved WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
Weld components for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Skids, E-House and Structural Fabrication.
Ensure proper joint preparation, fit-up, root pass and finishing as per drawing.

Quality & ASME Compliance

Follow instructions given by Welding Engineer / Supervisor.
Work according to ASME requirements and company quality standards.
Avoid defects like porosity, undercut, slag inclusion, lack of fusion etc.
Support in reducing weld repair and rework.

Safety & Discipline

Use proper PPE and safety practices during welding.
Maintain welding machines, cables and consumables properly.
Keep work area clean and safe.

Team Work

Coordinate with fitters and supervisors for smooth fabrication.
Attend training sessions on welding process and sequence when required.

Qualification

ITI – Welder / Fitter (Welding)
2–8 years experience in Heavy Fabrication / Pressure Vessel / Structural welding preferred.
3G / 4G / 6G welding experience is an advantage.

Skills

Assistant Manual Metal Arc Welder
Metal Inert Gas / Metal Active Gas /Gas Metal Arc Welder (MIG/MAG/GMAW)
MMAW/SMAW Welder

Additional Skills
