Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Operating complex machinery used in mixing, calendaring, extruding, tyre building, or curing/vulcanizing.
  • Set up & Adjustment: Setting up machines before the production cycle and adjusting parameters (temperature, pressure, speed) according to specifications.
  • Quality Monitoring: Inspecting raw materials and finished tires/components for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards, and minimizing scrap.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Performing routine cleaning and maintenance (lubrication, part replacement) to prevent breakdowns.
  • Documentation: Recording production data, downtime, material usage, and reporting malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols (PPE usage, 5S standards) to avoid hazards related to heat, moving machinery, and chemical additives.
