Area Manager – Sweets and Bakery Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee operations of multiple sweets and bakery outlets within the assigned area
  2. Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of sweets and bakery products across all branches
  3. Monitor daily sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets
  4. Manage and support store supervisors and staff in daily operations
  5. Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
  6. Coordinate inventory management, stock control, and supply chain across outlets
  7. Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints effectively
  8. Plan promotions, seasonal offers, and festival sales activities
  9. Train and develop staff to improve performance and service quality
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and local food safety regulations

Required Skills

  1. Strong leadership and team management skills
  2. Good knowledge of sweets and bakery production and retail operations
  3. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  4. Ability to analyze sales reports and make business decisions
