Description

We are Hiring Quality Assurance & Control- Lab Assistant and Site Supervisor for our ReadyMix Concrete Plant located at Chennai.

  • Qualification: A Degree (or) Diploma in Civil (Frequently Preferred) / Any Degree/Any Diploma Holders.
  • Job Location – Chennai
  • No.of Vacancies – 10 (Ten)
  • Salary during Probationary period – Rs 18000/-
  •  Salary after Probationary period – Rs 21000 to Rs 24000/-
  • A Probationary Period Is Three Months Successful Completion Leads To Confirmation As A Permanent Employee.

A Concrete Plant Site Supervisor (or RMC Site Supervisor) in the construction industry, particularly within Tamil Nadu/Chennai, is responsible for managing the daily operations of a ready-mix concrete plant and coordinating with project sites to ensure timely, quality delivery of concrete. 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production & Logistics: Coordinating with the project team regarding daily concrete pouring schedules, planning manpower, and managing RMC truck movements to ensure timely unloading.
  • Quality Control: Verifying site readiness (formwork, reinforcement, pump placement) before concrete arrival and ensuring strict adherence to mix designs.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols, conducting toolbox talks, and ensuring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the pouring site.
  • Documentation: Maintaining daily pouring records (volume, timings, wastage) and preparing progress reports. 

Typical Requirements:

  • Experience: Often requires 1-3+ years of experience in concrete/batching plant operations or as a site supervisor.
  • Skills: Knowledge of concrete mix designs, plant machinery, and strong communication skills for dealing with client sites.
