Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to customers whose loan/credit card installments are overdue, informing them about their outstanding amount and due dates.
Politely negotiate repayment plans or one‑time settlements within the bank’s / agency’s policy and guidelines.
Explain payment options (bank transfer, online payment, cheque, etc.) and guide customers on how to clear their dues.
Maintain accurate records of all calls, promises to pay, payment status, and customer commitments in the CRM / collection software.
Follow up on promised payments to ensure timely realization and update the system accordingly.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and disputes related to billing, interest, late fees, or documentation in a professional manner.
Escalate difficult or high‑risk accounts to seniors / recovery team as per internal norms.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets set by the bank / agency.
Ensure strict adherence to data privacy, confidentiality, and RBI / legal guidelines on debt collection.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: 10+2 / Diploma / Any Graduate (B.Com / BBA or similar preferred).
Experience: 0–2 years in telecalling, collections, customer service, or call center is an advantage.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a calm and professional attitude.
Ability to handle difficult or aggressive customers and manage stress.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM / collection software).
Good listening and note‑taking ability to record exact commitments.
