The IT Executive – Hardware will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting all hardware infrastructure (desktops, laptops, servers, printers, networking devices, etc.) used by the loan collection agency. The role ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations of IT systems across branches and collection centers to support field and desk‑based collection activities. �
Key Responsibilities – Hardware Support
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, UPS units, and other office hardware used by collection executives and branch staff.
Provide first‑level technical support for hardware issues (e.g., system not booting, display problems, peripheral failures) and coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements.
Regularly inspect and maintain hardware assets in branches and head office to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
Manage and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, Wi‑Fi access points, and cabling to support stable connectivity for loan collection software and MIS systems.
Maintain an updated inventory of all IT hardware (asset register), including serial numbers, warranty status, and allocation to users/branches.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, and warranty services, and ensure proper documentation of service calls and replacements.
Assist in the rollout of new hardware during office expansions, branch openings, or system upgrades related to loan collection operations.
Ensure adherence to IT security and data‑protection policies in hardware usage (e.g., disk encryption, secure disposal of old systems, USB restrictions).
Support basic configuration of user systems (user IDs, network mappings, printer setups) so that collection executives can access loan data and collection software without interruption.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / Networking or related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in desktop support, hardware maintenance, and basic networking in a corporate or financial services environment. Freshers with strong hands‑on skills may be considered.
Technical Skills (Hardware‑focused):
Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, UPS, printers, and other peripherals.
Basic knowledge of LAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, and cabling.
Ability to install and test hardware components (RAM, HDD/SSD, graphics, etc.).
Soft Skills:
Good communication and coordination skills to work with field collection staff and branch managers.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple support tickets in a fast‑paced loan‑collection environment.
Preferred Attributes
Familiarity with banking or NBFC/loan‑collection operations and basic understanding of MIS / collection software usage.
