Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Farmer Advisory & Support

  • Provide guidance to farmers on crop cultivation practices
  • Diagnose plant diseases, pest issues, and nutrient deficiencies
  • Recommend suitable fertilizers, pesticides, and treatments

2. Field Visits & Demonstrations

  • Conduct regular field visits within assigned territory
  • Demonstrate modern farming techniques and company products
  • Build strong relationships with farmers and stakeholders

3. Sales & Customer Development

  • Identify potential farmers and enroll them in company programs
  • Promote agri products/services (if applicable)
  • Achieve area coverage and farmer engagement targets

4. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Record field observations and farmer feedback
  • Update CRM or internal systems regularly

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of crops, pests, and fertilizers
  • Good communication in local language (Tamil preferred)
  • Ability to work in field and travel extensively
  • Problem-solving and advisory skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel (80–100 km radius)
  • Two-wheeler with valid license preferred
  • Passion for agriculture and farmer interaction
