Monitor and enforce workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections of plant equipment, chemical storage areas, and work sites.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and use of treatment chemicals such as chlorine, alum, and other water treatment agents.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees and contractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare reports.
Maintain safety records, permits, and compliance documentation.
Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance.
Assist in emergency preparedness, fire safety, evacuation drills, and spill response activities.
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company HSE standards.
Participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and permit-to-work systems.
