Description

  • Monitor and enforce workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of plant equipment, chemical storage areas, and work sites.
  • Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, and use of treatment chemicals such as chlorine, alum, and other water treatment agents.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare reports.
  • Maintain safety records, permits, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness, fire safety, evacuation drills, and spill response activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company HSE standards.
  • Participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and permit-to-work systems.
