Job description:

We are looking for a passionate Hardware Design Engineer to design, develop, and test hardware components for our IoT-based products used in irrigation and fertigation automation. The candidate will be responsible for schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, and prototype testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware circuits for IoT controllers and sensor interfaces.
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts using design tools such as Altium.
  • Work closely with the firmware team for board bring-up and debugging.
  • Evaluate and select components based on cost, performance, and availability.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and production boards.
  • Prepare technical documentation and BOM (Bill of Materials).
  • Support the production team in hardware testing and quality assurance

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces (RS485, Modbus, UART, SPI, I2C, GSM, Wi-Fi).
  • Hands-on experience in PCB design and hardware debugging tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer).
  • Knowledge of power supply design, signal conditioning, and EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of embedded systems and firmware integration is a plus.

Qualification:

  • BE / B.Tech in Electronics and Communication (ECE), Electrical and Electronics (EEE), or Electronics and Instrumentation (E&I).
  • Experience: 5 years (Freshers with strong technical knowledge are welcome).
