Job description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Firmware Developer with 3 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software for our products. The candidate should have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle, embedded systems, and the C programming language.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain embedded software for our products
• Design and implement software modules and drivers for embedded systems
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components
• Test and debug embedded software
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture and design discussions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in embedded systems and software development
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in embedded software development
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle
• Proficiency in C programming language
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers
• Experience with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN
• Familiarity with software development tools such as Git, Jira, and Jenkins
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred qualifications:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, LoRa & Wi-Fi
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS, uC/OS-II, or VxWorks
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
