Job Summary

The Maintenance Fitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace defective mechanical parts.
  • Assemble and fit machine components, pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Carry out alignment, lubrication, and routine servicing of equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain maintenance records and job completion reports.
  • Follow safety procedures and company guidelines during maintenance activities.
  • Support production teams in ensuring uninterrupted operations.
  • Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area.
