Job Summary

The Lab Assistant supports laboratory operations by collecting samples, conducting basic tests, maintaining records, and ensuring cleanliness and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and prepare milk, water, and product samples for testing.
  • Perform routine physical, chemical, and microbiological tests as instructed.
  • Record test results accurately and maintain laboratory documentation.
  • Assist in calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  • Prepare reagents and laboratory solutions as required.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of laboratory equipment and work areas.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Support quality control activities and inspections.
  • Assist senior analysts in daily laboratory operations.
