Description

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, handling taxation and compliance, preparing reports, and supporting project-based financial management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting books.
  • Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain cash flow statements and financial records.

Construction Project Accounting

  • Track project-wise expenses and revenues.
  • Monitor budgets for construction projects.
  • Prepare project profitability reports.
  • Verify contractor and supplier bills.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST returns.
  • Handle TDS deductions and filings.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors during audits.

Payroll & Administration

  • Process employee salaries and reimbursements.
  • Maintain employee attendance and payroll records.
  • Manage vendor payments and documentation.

Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Generate MIS reports for management.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
