AC Erection Technician – Roles & Responsibilities

Install and erect split AC, cassette AC, ductable AC, VRF/VRV, and package AC systems as per drawings and specifications.
Mount indoor and outdoor units securely using appropriate supports and brackets.
Carry out refrigerant copper piping, insulation, drain piping, and cable routing.
Install GI/MS supports, hangers, and outdoor unit stands.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and positioning of AC equipment.
Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors for daily installation activities.
Perform pressure testing, vacuuming, and assist in refrigerant charging.
Follow installation standards and manufacturer guidelines for quality workmanship.
Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly.
Adhere to site safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
Identify and report installation issues, material shortages, and site constraints.
Complete assigned work within project timelines and quality standards.
Assist in testing and commissioning activities.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area after installation.
Coordinate with electrical and civil teams for smooth project execution.
