
Job Purpose: The role holder is responsible for inspection, preventive maintenance, breakdown
diagnosis, and repair of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), ensuring high machine uptime,
safety compliance, and customer satisfaction across sites and depot operations.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI), periodic maintenance, and ensure machines are ready as
per OEM standards before dispatching.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults; respond to site
breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Assess machine condition on return, identify damages, and prepare estimates for repair and
replacement parts.
• Maintain accurate service reports, job cards, and update maintenance records in the system.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety standards, OEM guidelines, and company SOPs; report
critical defects immediately.
• Provide on-site technical support, handle customer issues, and conduct operator familiarization
when required.
• Raise parts requirements, coordinate with procurement, and support inventory management.
• Work closely with operations team for machine readiness, dispatch, and quick turnaround of fleet.
Educational Qualifications: ITI/Diploma/B. E in Mechanical/ Electrical/Mechatronics
Knowledge: Hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, diesel/electric machines, OEM service standards
Skills: Troubleshooting, Problem Solving, Technical Diagnostics, Basic Computer Skills
Other Requirements:
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to travel to sites
• Basic English for documentation
