Accountant Job Description

Job Title:

Accountant

Job Summary:

We are hiring a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounts, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare invoices, vouchers, and payment entries
  • Perform bank reconciliation and verify transactions
  • Manage GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing reports
  • Prepare financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet)
  • Monitor expenses and support budgeting activities
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com 
  • Fresher or 1–2 years of experience in accounting

Skills:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • GST & TDS knowledge (important)
  • Proficiency in Tally / ERP software
  • Basic to advanced MS Excel skills
  • Attention to detail and accurancy

Work Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: Boyampalayam (Tiruppur)
  • Working Hours: Office timing, 9 to 7

Salary:

  • ₹12,000 to ₹20,000 (based on experience)
