Welding & Fabrication

1. Perform arc welding, gas welding, MIG/TIG welding, and cutting operations as required.
2. Carry out fabrication, modification, and repair of machine parts, structures, pipelines, conveyors, and foundry equipment.
3. Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication sketches.
4. Ensure welding quality and dimensional accuracy of fabricated components.

Maintenance Activities

1. Attend machine breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance.
2. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for foundry equipment.
3. Repair and replace worn-out mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, couplings, belts, chains, and gear systems.
4. Maintain melting furnace accessories, sand plant equipment, conveyors, shot blasting machines, dust collectors, and material handling systems.
5. Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Utilities & Infrastructure Maintenance

1. Maintain compressed air lines, water pipelines, cooling systems, and plant structures.
2. Carry out repair and maintenance of platforms, racks, sheds, and other infrastructure.
3. Support utility maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Safety & Compliance

1. Follow all safety procedures during welding, cutting, and maintenance activities.
2. Use appropriate PPE and ensure safe work practices.
3. Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
4. Comply with company safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Documentation

1. Record maintenance activities, breakdown details, and spare parts usage.
2. Report recurring equipment issues to the Maintenance Manager.
3. Maintain maintenance logs and daily work reports.
