Description

CNC VTL Operator

 Job Description:

  • Operate CNC VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) machines for machining components as per specifications.
  • Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to production requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
  • Monitor machining operations and make necessary offset corrections.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using Vernier calipers, Micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Ensure product quality and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Maintain production records and inspection reports.
  • Follow safety standards, 5S practices, and company procedures.
  • Carry out routine machine maintenance and report any abnormalities.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to achieve production targets.

Qualification:

  •  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant experience in CNC VTL machine operator

Preferred Experience:

  • 2–5 years in CNC VTL machining.
  • Experience in heavy engineering, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
