Perform routine inspection, preventive, and corrective maintenance of solar PV electrical systems.
Inspect PV modules, DC strings, SCBs, ACDBs, DCDBs, inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels, RMUs, VCBs, and switchgear.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore equipment to normal operation with minimum downtime.
Carry out testing of insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, voltage, current, polarity, and cable health using standard test instruments.
Monitor inverter performance, alarms, and plant generation; identify performance losses and rectify issues.
Inspect, tighten, clean, and maintain electrical connections, terminals, cable glands, junction boxes, and panel components.
Maintain earthing systems, lightning protection systems, and surge protection devices.
Assist in shutdown activities, equipment isolation, LOTO implementation, commissioning, and energization works.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and O&M teams during maintenance and repair activities.
Maintain site lighting, power distribution systems, DG supply interfaces, and auxiliary electrical equipment.
Record maintenance activities, equipment history, fault reports, test results, and spare parts consumption.
Ensure proper housekeeping of electrical rooms, inverter stations, transformer yards, and switchyards.
Follow electrical safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and comply with HSE, statutory, and company standards.
Report abnormal conditions, equipment failures, and safety hazards to the Site Engineer and recommend corrective actions.
