Description

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator cum Programmer

Job Summary:
Operate CNC machines and create CNC programs to produce quality parts according to engineering drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines.
  • Create and edit CNC programs.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Select the correct tools and machine settings.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments.
  • Ensure product quality and accuracy.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience operating and programming CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar CNC controllers.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
