Description

Job Title: VTL Machine Operator cum Programmer

Job Summary

Operate and program VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) machines to manufacture components as per engineering drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate VTL machines.
  • Create and edit CNC programs.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Select tools and set machining parameters.
  • Check finished parts using measuring instruments.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance.
  • Follow safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in VTL machine operation and programming.
  • Knowledge of G-code and M-code.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments.
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
