A machine manufacturing company based in Trichy requires a skilled and experienced Welder for machine fabrication and assembly work.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Arc welding and Gas welding for machine frames, supports and fabricated components.
Cut, fit, align and weld mild-steel parts according to job requirements.
Read and understand basic fabrication and mechanical drawings.
Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting and welding.
Maintain proper dimensions, angles and alignment during fabrication.
Perform gas cutting, grinding and finishing work.
Check weld quality and correct defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut and distortion.
Coordinate with fitters, turners and the workshop manager.
Maintain welding machines, gas-cutting equipment and tools properly.
Follow workshop safety procedures and complete assigned work on time.
