Job Summary

The Trainee Field Officer is responsible for learning and assisting in the company's Joint Liability Group (JLG) microfinance operations. The role involves identifying eligible customers, forming groups, conducting center meetings, processing loan applications, ensuring timely loan collections, and maintaining healthy customer relationships while adhering to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Identify potential customers in assigned villages and operational areas.
Conduct village surveys to identify eligible borrowers.
Form and maintain Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) as per company guidelines.
Verify customer identity, residence, and business activities.
Assist in loan application processing and documentation.
Conduct pre-disbursement verification and customer orientation.
Ensure proper execution of loan disbursement activities.
Collect weekly/monthly loan repayments from customers.
Maintain collection efficiency and minimize overdue accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Educate customers about loan products, repayment discipline, and financial literacy.
Maintain accurate field records, customer files, and collection reports.
Submit daily activity reports to the Branch Manager.
Follow all regulatory guidelines and company compliance requirements.
Support branch activities and achieve assigned business targets.
