Description

An Associate Software Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications under the guidance of senior developers. They collaborate with the development team to build high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions while continuously improving their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web, desktop, or mobile applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards.
  • Assist in designing, developing, and implementing new software features.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to improve code quality.
  • Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services into applications.
  • Perform unit testing and support system testing to ensure software reliability.
  • Maintain project documentation and update technical specifications.
  • Learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and development tools.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Provide technical support and assist in software deployment when required.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and software integration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
