Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our service team. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining petrol, diesel, and electric vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
Repair and replace vehicle components including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical systems.
Carry out inspections and road tests before and after repairs.
Maintain accurate job cards and service records.
Ensure work is completed within the prescribed time and quality standards.
Follow all workshop safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
Keep the work area clean and maintain workshop tools and equipment.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
Hands-on experience with diagnostic scanners and workshop equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer knowledge for service documentation.
Willingness to learn new technologies, including EV systems.
Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or a related field.
1–5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician (Freshers with relevant training may also apply).
Experience in passenger vehicles (PV) or electric vehicles (EV) is an added advantage.
