Description

Key Responsibilities

Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

  • Inspect incoming raw materials, hydraulic components, and bought-out parts.
  • Verify supplier documentation, material test certificates, and inspection reports.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials.
  • Coordinate with stores and procurement for material disposition.

In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

  • Conduct stage-wise inspections during machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and painting.
  • Verify critical dimensions and tolerances as per engineering drawings.
  • Monitor adherence to manufacturing processes and work instructions.
  • Record inspection results and report deviations.

Final Quality Inspection (FQC)

  • Perform final inspection of hydraulic machines before dispatch.
  • Verify assembly quality, functionality, and visual appearance.
  • Assist in hydraulic pressure testing and performance testing.
  • Ensure inspection reports and checklists are completed accurately.

Documentation

  • Maintain quality inspection records and reports.
  • Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Update calibration and inspection records.
  • Support document control activities.

Problem Solving

  • Report quality issues to senior engineers.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects.

Calibration

  • Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and in good working condition.
  • Maintain calibration records.

Customer & Supplier Support

  • Support customer inspections when required.
  • Participate in supplier quality inspections and evaluations under guidance.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • 0–3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships or industrial training may also apply.

  • Timely completion of inspection reports
