Job Description:

SKMN Motors is looking for a Technician Helper to assist our skilled technicians with vehicle maintenance and repairs. You will help ensure work is done safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist technicians with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks)
  • Clean and organize tools, equipment, and workspaces
  • Track parts and manage inventory for service orders
  • Assist with vehicle inspections and document findings
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment
  • Follow all safety and environmental regulations
  • Provide good customer service and communicate with clients as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager or lead technician

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques (preferred but not required)
  • Strong interest in automotive repair and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Good communication skills and teamwork ability
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive
