Description

Job Description

  • Install, calibrate, test, and maintain instrumentation and control systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of field instruments.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation, PLC, and control system issues.
  • Ensure proper functioning of sensors, transmitters, gauges, control valves, and analyzers.
  • Read and interpret P&ID drawings, wiring diagrams, and loop drawings.
  • Assist in commissioning and startup of instrumentation systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for reliability.
  • Prepare maintenance reports and maintain calibration records.
  • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams during maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Support breakdown maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Participate in plant inspections and preventive maintenance schedules.

Requirements

  • BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering, EIE, ECE, or a related discipline.
  • Freshers or experienced candidates (based on company requirement).
  • Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems.
  • Knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
  • Ability to read electrical and instrumentation drawings.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work in shifts or at project sites if required.
