Operate HMC machines to manufacture components as per production requirements.
Set up fixtures, workpieces, and cutting tools before machining.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, CNC programs, and process sheets.
Monitor machining operations and make tool offset corrections when required.
Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and dial indicators.
Ensure machined parts meet specified dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
Replace worn or damaged cutting tools and maintain proper tool inventory.
Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance of HMC machines.
Record production output, inspection results, downtime, and machine performance.
Report machine malfunctions, quality issues, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
Follow production schedules while maintaining productivity and minimizing downtime.
Comply with all safety regulations, 5S practices, and company quality management systems.
Qualifications
ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
CNC/HMC operation training or certification is an added advantage.
