Job Purpose:

  1. Priority to support Plant operation related welding issues align with shift engineer
  2. Timely completion of Fabrication works
  3. Supporting to Fitter & Production team as per plant needs
  4. Follow safety and compliance standards.
  5. Follow proper 5S in respected area

Job Profile:

Mechanical – Welder

Academic Qualifications:

ITI Welder / Diploma in Mechanical

Work Experience

Example: 3–5 years in Fabrication & Welding

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Technical knowledge of below maintenance activities
  • MS / SS Sheets Cutting & Arc welding
  • MS Pipelines Cutting & Welding
  • SS 304/316 Pipelines Cutting & welding
  • Follow 100% Safety requirements in welding process
  • Fabrication works materials BOQ preparation
  • Material MOC knowledge  
  • Basic Understanding the Drawings & Layout

 

Welder Responsibilities

  • Carry out welding (Arc) and cutting works as required.
  • Fabricate and repair supports, guards, tanks, and pipelines
  • Assist in structural and pressure-part repairs
  • Ensure weld quality (visual inspection, leak testing)
  • Maintain welding tools, consumables, and equipment
  • Follow hot work permits and fire safety norms
  •
