JOB DESCRIPTION – DRIVER

Reporting To: Admin Manager / Branch Manager
Employment Type: Full Time
Experience: 1–3 Years
Education: Minimum 10th Pass
Location: KUN Hyundai Showroom

Job Purpose

To provide safe, reliable and timely transportation support for company employees, management, customers and official requirements while maintaining the assigned vehicle properly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly as per company requirements.
  • Pick up and drop employees, management and customers as assigned.
  • Transport documents, parts, materials and other official items when required.
  • Maintain punctuality and follow assigned schedules and routes.
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable at all times.
  • Conduct basic daily checks of fuel, tyres, lights, oil, brakes and other essential items.
  • Take the vehicle for scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs as instructed.
  • Maintain vehicle-related documents, insurance, registration and other records.
  • Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company and management information.
  • Assist customers or visitors courteously when required.
  • Report any vehicle damage, accident, breakdown or maintenance issue immediately.
  • Maintain proper records of trips, fuel usage and vehicle expenses.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 10th Pass.
  • Valid driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
  • 2–5 years of driving experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
  • Clean and responsible driving record.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctual, trustworthy and disciplined.
  • Professional appearance and courteous behaviour.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required.

Skills Required

  • Safe and defensive driving.
  • Good knowledge of local routes.
  • Time management and punctuality.
  • Basic vehicle troubleshooting.
  • Customer-friendly attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.

Working Conditions

  • Work may involve local travel and occasional outstation travel.
  • Flexible working hours may be required based on business needs.
  • Must maintain the company vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.
