Description

We are looking for a Junior Engineer – Mechanical to support the mechanical maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of plant machinery and equipment. The candidate will assist in preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and routine inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment
  • Monitor the condition and performance of mechanical equipment
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical breakdowns
  • Support maintenance of pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, valves, and other equipment
  • Conduct routine inspection of machines and identify maintenance requirements
  • Coordinate with the Production, Electrical, Utilities, and Stores teams
  • Maintain daily maintenance records, checklists, and reports
  • Assist in spare parts identification and maintenance planning
  • Support installation, commissioning, and modification of mechanical equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards
  • Support the Senior Engineer / Maintenance In-charge in day-to-day maintenance activities

Qualification

  • B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Trade

Experience

  • Freshers or candidates with 1+ year of experience can apply
  • Experience in Dairy / FMCG / Food Processing / Manufacturing will be an added advantage
