Core Responsibilities

Monitors Tenders: Tracks government portals (e-procurement) and private bidding platforms for relevant MEP opportunities.
Reviews Documents: Analyzes Tender Drawings, Specifications, and Conditions of Contract to understand project scopes.
Prepares Costings: Estimates accurate quantities (BOQ) for electrical substations, plumbing networks, and fire sprinkler lines.
Sources Quotes: Coordinates with approved manufacturers and vendors to procure competitive pricing for machinery and materials.
Compiles Bids: Bundles technical documentation, financial profiles, statutory licenses, and earthing/hydraulic calculation summaries into final submissions.
Attends Meetings: Participates in pre-bid discussions, site visits, and technical negotiation rounds with project consultants.

Key Skills Required

Software Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and specialized MEP estimation software.
Technical Reading: Strong ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints, Single Line Diagrams, and piping schematics.
Market Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of raw material rates (copper, steel, PVC) and regional labor costs.
