Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, lifting, stacking, and movement of materials.
  • Transport raw materials, components, finished goods, pallets, and other materials to designated locations.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage.
  • Follow warehouse layout, material identification, FIFO and storage procedures.
  • Conduct basic daily forklift safety and condition checks before operation.
  • Report any equipment abnormalities, damage, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping in the forklift operating and storage areas.
  • Follow factory safety rules, PPE requirements, and material handling procedures.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Material Management, Production, and other departments for timely material movement.
  • Maintain required material movement records and documentation.
  • Support inventory accuracy and proper material placement.
  • Follow all company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 10th / 12th / ITI or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification as applicable.
  • 0–2 years of experience in forklift operation, warehouse, logistics, or material handling.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety and material handling practices.
