
This role combines the crucial functions of financial management and general office administration. The Accountant cum Office Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the organization, ensuring smooth daily office operations, and providing administrative support to the management team.
Accounts and Office Administration
Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional environment.
Procurement: Manage office supplies inventory, place orders, and negotiate with vendors for services (e.g., utilities, maintenance).
Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
Record Keeping: Maintain and organize both physical and electronic files, ensuring data security and easy retrieval.
Logistics: Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and logistics for staff and visitors.
Human Resources Support: Assist with basic HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records and onboarding new staff.
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.
Invoicing and Receivables: Manage the accounts receivable process, including generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
Payables and Expenses: Process accounts payable, manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and handle employee expense reports.
Payroll: Assist with or manage payroll processing and related statutory deductions.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, credit card, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports (e.g., profit and loss statements, balance sheets) for management review.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and assist with internal and external audits.
