Job description:

Job Purpose:
To operate grinding machines and ensure precision machining of components as per specifications, maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cylindrical, surface, or internal grinding machines to produce precision components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and job orders to determine machining requirements.
  • Set up, adjust, and maintain grinding machines for optimal performance.
  • Inspect finished products using measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges) to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area, following all safety protocols.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or relevant trade.
  • 1–3 years of experience in grinding operations (ID/OD/Surface).
  • Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
