
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and implement PLC programs for various industrial automation projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PLC programs and associated hardware.
Modify and optimize existing PLC code to improve efficiency and performance.
Work closely with electrical engineers, instrumentation engineers, and technicians during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA interfaces for process control and monitoring.
Conduct system testing, debugging, and documentation for all automation projects.
Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards (IEC, ISO, etc.).
Support on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
Prepare technical reports, user manuals, and training documents as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
2–3 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or similar).
Proficient in ladder logic, function block, structured text, and sequential function chart programming.
Experience with HMI/SCADA software (WinCC, FactoryTalk, iFIX, or equivalent).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in industrial automation systems.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret electrical and P&ID diagrams.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred / Additional Skills:
Experience in drives, VFDs, and motion control systems.
Exposure to project commissioning and site support.
Understanding of PLC network architecture and industrial IoT integration.
