Job Description: Filling Machine Operator (CSD & Juice)
Location: Thanjavur Job Type: Full-time / Rotating Shifts
Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Filling Machine Operator to join our beverage production team. You will be responsible for the efficient operation of high-speed filling lines for Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) and Juice, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met daily.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Manage start-up, shutdown, and production runs on rotary fillers, rinsers, and cappers using HMI control panels.
Changeovers: Execute rapid format changeovers (e.g., bottle sizes, CSD to Juice) to minimize downtime.
Quality Control: continuously monitor fill levels, cap torque, CO2 volumes, and Brix (sugar) levels.
Hygiene: Perform strict Clean-in-Place (CIP) and sterilization procedures to prevent flavor carryover and ensure food safety (HACCP/GMP compliance).
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical jams or sensor errors immediately; perform first-line maintenance (lubrication, seal checks).
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2+ years operating filling machinery in the Food & Beverage industry (Bottling experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Understanding of Iso-baric filling (CSD) and Hot Fill/Pasteurization processes. Experience with brands like sigma, Krones, Sidel, or KHS is a plus.
Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to use hand tools and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
Availability: Willingness to work rotating shifts (Day/Night) and weekends.
