Packing – Roles & Responsibilities
Perform packing of finished components as per packing instructions, drawings, and customer requirements
Ensure proper labeling, identification, and quantity verification before packing
Use appropriate packing materials (foam, bubble wrap, cartons, pallets) to prevent damage during transit
Maintain packing records and dispatch documentation accurately
Follow FIFO and traceability requirements
Handle components carefully to avoid scratches, dents, or contamination
Coordinate with production, QC, and logistics teams for timely dispatch
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area
Follow safety guidelines while handling tools and materials
Deburring – Roles & Responsibilities
Perform manual and machine deburring operations on machined components
Remove sharp edges, burrs, and excess material as per drawing and quality standards
Use deburring tools such as files, grinders, pneumatic tools, and hand tools safely
Inspect parts visually and dimensionally after deburring
Ensure surface finish and edge quality meet specification requirements
Identify and report defects or non-conformities to the supervisor
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
Maintain deburring tools and ensure proper usage
Support continuous improvement by reducing rework and rejection
