The ideal candidate will have an ITI background and a strong mechanical aptitude. You will be responsible for ensuring the machine runs safely and efficiently at full capacity, minimizing downtime, and maintaining product quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

2. Quality Assurance

  • Inspections: Conduct routine visual and physical quality checks on the finished output (e.g., checking label alignment, seal integrity, or product weight).

  • Defect Management: Identify and isolate defective products immediately. Adjust machine calibrations to correct the root cause of the defect.

3. Autonomous Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • First-Line Maintenance: Perform basic daily maintenance, including cleaning, greasing moving parts, and clearing debris from sensors.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose minor mechanical or electrical faults (e.g., sensor misalignment, loose belts) and fix them promptly. Escalate major breakdowns to the Maintenance Department.

4. Safety & Documentation

  • Compliance: Strictly follow all factory safety rules, including the use of PPE and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance. Maintain a clean workspace (5S).

  • Reporting: Accurately fill out daily production logs, recording total output, wastage, and reasons for any machine downtime.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: ITI Certification (Fitter, Machinist, Mechatronics, Electrician, or related trade) is highly preferred. 12th Pass candidates with strong relevant experience may also be considered.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience operating automated or semi-automated machinery in a manufacturing or FMCG plant.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Basic mechanical and electrical understanding.
