Description

Job Title: Helper – Printing / Lamination / Pouching
Department: Production
Location: Flexibles Manufacturing Unit
Reports To: Shift In-charge / Production Supervisor

Job Summary

The Helper is responsible for assisting machine operators in Printing, Lamination, and Pouching departments by ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining cleanliness, handling materials, and supporting quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Printing Helper

  • Assist the Printing Operator in machine setup and production activities.
  • Load and unload raw materials, inks, cylinders, and consumables.
  • Support web threading and roll changing activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of printing machines and surrounding work areas.
  • Assist in ink preparation and material movement.
  • Follow quality standards and report any abnormalities to the operator.

Lamination Helper

  • Assist the Lamination Operator during machine setup and operation.
  • Load film rolls and support roll changing activities.
  • Help in adhesive preparation and material handling.
  • Monitor material movement and maintain production records as instructed.
  • Ensure housekeeping around the machine and production area.
  • Follow safety procedures while handling chemicals and materials.

Pouching Helper

  • Assist the Pouching Operator in machine operation and setup.
  • Arrange and pack finished pouches as per production requirements.
  • Remove defective products and segregate scrap materials.
  • Support material feeding and roll changing activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and packing areas.
  • Assist in counting, bundling, and palletizing finished goods.

Skill:

  • Education: SSLC / HSC / ITI (Preferred)
  • Experience: 0–2 years in Flexible Packaging Industry (Freshers can also apply)
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing and production activities.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in shifts.
